Born in New Mexico on March 26, 1992. A family meeting was held that night to agree on a name. Gabriel was one of the first names to come up, the name of his uncle. As time went on, TREVOR came to light from a movie we've seen called "Windwalker". Trevor Howard was the lead actor. His middle name is Angelo and you would have to ask his brother Heath where that name came from. |

Trey had gone shopping with his mother and older sister in Gallup, and came upon young children who were giving away puppies. He instently fell in love with a white puppy crying to get out of the box. He knew he had to have it. He asked his mother for her permission. She told him no. He then felt bad and his mother told him " if we come around again and its still there, then you could have him." After shopping they returned to the same place and a few dogs were gone, except the one he wanted. The puppies were free, but Trey gave the little boy three dollars to seal the deal. "Take care of him" the boy called out. "Oh i will" replyed Trevor. The puppy we grew to love with great care was named "Polar". |

The Zuni Middle School held a Memorial Basketball Tournament for two nights. The students formed thier own teams. The sk8terz, And 1, The Zuni Warriors, Unleashed, The Rez Ballerz, And the Teachers team Dried Snot. Two of his best friends played, Chad and Strallie. Also two of his cousins played, Leandra and Cleah. Trevors family would not miss this event for anything. From the first game to the last, We were there to cheer them on. On top of the bleachers stood out all of Trevor's friends, underneath a huge sign that read "Trevor Weekooty Memorial Basketball Tournament". In our hearts we know that Trevor was there by his Family and Friends, to keep us from crying. But to make us feel joy to celebrate his life. |

The Zuni Middle School Held a 8th grade exit celebration dinner. They made sure that the Weekooty family were there. The evening was a happy yet sad event. Happy to see Treys classmates get certificate awards and to see them as teenagers. Sad that Trevor was not there in person to make us proud. As the event came toward the end of the closing remarks, three girls stood up and went to the front and showed pictures of Trevor from ages one to twelve. They read statements form students who had something to say about him. "We would like to remember our friend and classmate as he will be with us in spirit as we celebrate the end of our middle school years! This is for all the catepillars that never became butterflies, that never caught wind in their wings, and all the hearts that had hopes and dreams of a wonderous flight!" As soon as they were done they went to the Weekooty family and gave the mother a giant card writen from the students. They gave the father a white carnation with blue tips and put it on his shirt. Thank you for everything. Congratulations to all the ZMS 8th grade students of 2006. |

Trevor was so proud to be an uncle. He was only in headstart when he became an uncle. As years went by he taught them an important lesson "love". Heath's childern where always far way that he only got to see them 10 times a year. He grew close with the Leon children. Trevors older sister made sure he keep an eye on her kids while he took them on walks and play at the playgrounds. He loved that they could ask him anything, because he knew they could trust him with the truth. After his death the childern could not understand that he was going to be gone forever. They thought "but trevor always promise that his going to take us to go play, he is coming back. You lie to us, he is cominig back." They couldn't understand. The thought of him gone made them question death. " How could he leave us, without saying good bye?". |
